We are extremely saddened to report that Rosemary Goodacre, author of three historical romances with Hera, passed away over the weekend after a short illness.
Rosemary submitted her debut novel in January 2019 and in less than two years published three books with us, all about Edmond and Amy Derwent, a young couple living through WW1. Her writing was always beautifully moving and impeccably researched, and we always looked forward to reading her new books.
Rosemary was a committed member of the RNA and we were delighted when her debut novel, Until We Meet Again was shortlisted for the Joan Hessayon award earlier this year.
We will be honouring her memory as we prepare to release her final book, Until We Can Forgive, this month.
Our thoughts are with her husband, Ian, and the many friends Rosemary had within the writing community, particularly those in The Write Place. We are very proud to have been Rosemary’s publisher and she will be dearly missed.
