Hera set to publish glamorous, original time-slip crime series by bestselling author, Lisa Hall

Hera Publisher, Keshini Naidoo, has acquired World English Language rights to a mystery series set in the Golden Age of Hollywood by Lisa Hall from Lisa Moylett at Coombs Moylett Maclean in a two-book deal. 

The first book in the series, The Mysterious Double Death of Honey Black sees would-be film producer Lily Jones far from her Los Angeles movie dreams as she finds a job as a chambermaid at the world-renowned Beverly Hills Hotel. But when a freak accident transports her back into 1949, she’s plunged into the technicolour world of Hollywood’s Golden Age; a time of femme fatales, chiselled movie heroes and multiple martinis at lunchtime… While she gets to grips with existing in a place that she’s only ever seen in old movies, she quickly becomes embroiled in the mysterious death of rising starlet Honey Black. Can she solve a decades-old infamous murder, find Honey’s killer and get back to her own time?
