Hera sign two novels from debut saga author, Lynn Johnson
Hera are thrilled to announce the acquisition of two saga novels from debut novelist, Lynn Johnson. World rights for the series were acquired from the author directly by Hera Publishing Director, Keshini Naidoo. Lynn’s first book, a heartbreaking saga set in WW1 Staffordshire, will be published in early 2020, with the second book in the series coming out in autumn 2020.
Keshini Naidoo commented on the deal:
‘I was lucky enough to meet Lynn at the RNA Conference in 2019 and after meeting her, I couldn’t wait to read her novel. A truly captivating WW1 saga set in the shadow of the famous Staffordshire Potteries, we first meet Ginnie Jones as she is torn from her family and sent to the local workhouse, following her as she grows into a young woman with hopes for the future and dreams of love. I laughed and shed many a tear while reading and I know that readers are going to love Ginnie’s story as much as I did! We couldn’t be more thrilled to be launching Lynn to the market in 2020.’
Lynn Johnson added:
‘I am over the moon to be published by Hera Books. I first met Keshini at the Romantic Novelists Conference this year and I knew I wanted to work with her. I have lived with my characters Ginnie Jones and Sam White for a long time now and I know they will be in safe hands with Keshini and Lindsey, and Hera Books.’
